What is CFTWorld all about?

Our History and Background

Clothes for the World, Inc, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to building cultural understanding and communal ties through the collection and distribution of used clothes, toys, and other household goods and hygiene products. We focus on distributing these items to struggling families throughout Massachusetts and to our partner community of Anton, Cocle, Panama.

Incorporated in 2009, CFTWorld has supplied items in need to families and organizations in Massachusetts, Haiti, and Panama.

The inspiration for CFTWorld came not only through the years of non-profit work by Erin Rosenbaum, CFTWorld Founder and Director, but from the many people she has met and relationships she has built in her travels throughout the United States and abroad. Specifically, she spent a year in Anton, Cocle, Panama as an exchange student. She quickly became connected with the community and its' needs. The work on CFTWorld in Panama is in collaboration with the local schools, universities, churches and community organizations.

CFTWorld prides itself on providing the organizations and families we work with an individualized approach to item donation. All items are sorted, selected and distributed based on the needs of those families being served.

CFTWorld, Inc is comprised of all volunteers, therefore 100% of your donations go directly to those in need.

 Our Mission
